terahertz.NRW brings together the leading minds in terahertz research – from NRW and worldwide. Together, we are creating a network to harness the disruptive potential of the technology. We want to develop new mobile applications for communication, localization, material characterization, medical technology and environmental monitoring. We give terahertz technology global visibility – made in NRW.

terahertz.NRW is a network of Fraunhofer FHR, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, University of Duisburg-Essen, Fraunhofer IMS and Bergische Universität Wuppertal, funded by the state of NRW.
