Scientific excellence in North Rhine-Westphalia is also represented by the name Fraunhofer. On Monday, Ina Brandes, Minister for Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia, had the opportunity to visit Wachtberg and see it firsthand. The Fraunhofer Institute for High-Frequency Physics and Radar Technology FHR and the Fraunhofer Institute for Communication, Information Processing, and Ergonomics FKIE opened their laboratory doors to provide the politician with exciting insights into the current research activities of almost 1,000 scientists employed at the two institutes.
